Mission = aborted. It’s 5am and there are now over 100 people in line. A friend told me she got there around midnight and is #10. She doesn’t think anyone else will get a standby ticket. Drat!
We’ll try this again if Conan gets another show. I bought some presents for Heather and Liezl, I’ll just hang on to them for the First New Show with Conan mission.
Disappointing, but my future self is thankful I didn’t risk my health. I’m already sick, I don’t need to get pneumonia and die. I have to survive so I can do this again in September! (Presumably.)
Big ups to Heather for standing out there in the sideways rain and hail for over three hours and developing mild hypothermia. She has such a huge heart. ♥
