i feel so bad that i couldn’t stick it out. i feel like i let everyone down. i wanted to be there for my friends, both the two who were physically there and the ones in spirit who lived too far away to try to make it to the show. yet when i think about it realistically, it’s noon now and it’s hailing again here and there’s just no way i would have been able to make it 24...

Mission = aborted. It’s 5am and there are now over 100 people in line. A friend told me she got there around midnight and is #10. She doesn’t think anyone else will get a standby ticket. Drat!
We’ll try this again if Conan gets another show. I bought some presents for Heather and Liezl, I’ll just hang on to them for the First New Show with Conan mission.

9:45pm, i proved myself a coward who would desert...
so i’m home. i made it almost exactly 3 and a half hours. why am i home so early?
i think i gave myself mild hypothermia. this is after i took a hot shower, dried off, and changed into warm dry clothes! so when i was out on the street at the end of it all i must have been somewhere around like 93 degrees? shit.
basically, right after i got off the subway (5pm) it starts raining, and then...
sparkiepop: I wasn’t MIA, I was just waiting for Heather to let me know when I should go and then it took me some time to pack up and head out. Heather and I met up in the Metro lot and decided to go back home and see how we feel around 5am. I’ll let Heather give you the rundown of what happened.

Heather has reported she is suffering from a bit of hypothermia after being in the rain for three hours and survivng the hail storm. She is headed home. Sparkiepop is m.i.a. Adventure to reconvene in the morning.

in some number of hours, i’ll be in line with my friends attempting to get standby tickets to the last episode of “the tonight show with conan o’brien”. barely 7 months ago, i ditched work to stand in line to go to the third episode ever. now i’m going to be waiting for the last one ever. god damn.
